Transformation Goal: I seek to grow in offering my life and home as a safe place of healing and restoration to others, welcoming in strangers as Jesus has graciously welcomed me into His family.
Transformation Practices:
- I will read The Gospel Comes with a House Key by Rosaria Butterfield to learn of Jesus’ heart for the outcast and marginalized and my privilege and responsibility to welcome them in as He has welcomed me in.
- I will memorize and meditate on Luke 14:12-24 to be reminded of how Jesus sought me when I was an outcast and now invites me to reflect His pursuing and welcoming heart to others.
Once a week, I will invite a neighbor, co-worker or someone Jesus leads me to into my home to actively practice hospitality.
