Transformation Goal: I seek to grow in putting my dishonesty and exaggerations to death and instead speaking the truth regardless of the consequences, trusting that God is light and has invited me, as His child, to live in the freedom of His light.
Transformation Practices:
- I will spend 15 minutes in prayer each morning asking Jesus to help me speak the truth in all circumstances, to better honor Him with my speech and to walk in the light.
- I will confess and repent to each person I lie to and ask for forgiveness–even if it is costly.
- I will memorize 1 John 1:5-10 to be reminded of Jesus’ invitation to walk in the light and forgive me when I confess my sin.
